Hi everyone. I am November 2019 applicant. Recently I requested urgent request as my family member is going through medical emergency and I have to accompany her in December in U.S. I got my request approved and got contacted by agent for interview. What document should I prepare with me?
Also I am required to get two pieces of ID can I use my expired passport and my permanent resident ? Those are the identification documents I submitted to immigration as well. My permanent resident landing there was a crack in the paper in the part that divided section A from section B, so I cut the paper using a paper cutter. I used tape to tape them back together. It is not gonna be a problem right? I mean in interview email they didn't ask about my PR landing document, but I am assuming they might ask for it during interview. Also it is stated that I have to click on the interview link the time of the interview. Can I click on it 5 minutes before the interview is initiated to make sure everything work and I am not stressed out? I should say that I am end of my application I passed the test on July and it is marked as completed in August. Background check is also marked as completed. I also sent out coloured copy of my passport document as requested.

This is the email that I received:

Yes its only verification of your documents submitted and verification of your information on your application and residency.
They will verify something like below from what i understood from forum posts:
Verifying IDs
Verifying Passport pages
Verifying your application detail by asking some questions on where you stayed and worked etc.

As this is also related to urgent request, there would be questions/proof/communication on the medical emergency to confirm you have genuine reason.

There is nothing to worry about the documents if its torn or not as long as its original and you have them during interview if in case they ask you to show. Keep all documents/Cards/ID with you whichever the ones you submitted in the application.

Red colour: You dont need to say anything. Wait for them to question. THey know that you are after the test stage. You dont get to decide if this is the end of the stage. They are not going to ask on it. They know which stage you are in as they are the ones handing your file hence just answer the question, not your opinion about your application stage.

Yes login few mins early, if they are coming late just wait for 10-20 mins.

Interview is the easy one while comparing to test since you dont need to prepare anything for interview since they ask questions around your documents and application submitted(which you already know about what you submitted). So you dont need to overthink/stress about.
