TRV for a Family member - Can the PR holder travel out of country when TRV application is in process?

Hi Forum members,

I applied a TRV for my old mother to come and visit me in Canada on a Tourist visa - The application is still in process (under review).

While the visa application is in process, Can I (a PR) travel outside of Canada for about a month? Will me being out of Canada have any impact on the TRV application that was filed?
