Required to be in Canada for Test/Interview

Hi folks,

I applied for citizenship Aug 19 online. I am needing to go outside of the country for some time (I understand I need to keep the PR residency status).

After AOR, do I need to be in Canada for the test or interview? When should I expect either of these to be?

As of now, due to covid, it's an online test and you will need a computer with stable internet and Webcam to take it. If everything goes well, applicant usually received a notice to take the the test 6 months after AOR. I don't know if the system will permit you to take it from outside Canada, so plan your travel accordingly

Test can be taken outside the country.
Interview and oath to be done inside.

No one knows. it depends on the specific office location and the officer assigned. No use of predicting on it.
