Lol it goes way beyond that. Last time I called they were only accepting afgan situation or emergency reasons, because my case was not classed as emergent, the agent got verbally abusive. He said if I don't know to follow instructions that I should leave canada. Trust me, don't call for non emergency reasons or you will regret.

They're already frustrated with so many calls everyday and but I didn't get it why they stopped taking calls... while Refugees will be sheltered well until they get their approvals .. and still giving them preference putting all others in wait list.
Finally the attorneys forwarded me the Portal confirmation email today which was sent to them on July 25. They didn't have my personal email so I lost all the time. Hoping to send all my details today. Fingers crossed. Now next step will be getting the credentials for login. God bless all of you soon with this golden opportunity. My application is 5 months 4 days in progress. Never had any ghost updates from April till now. All I know is my security not started in May 2021. IRCC agent advised it was last step in process for final decision. So far, nothing happened. Still waiting.
If they could just show the status on the account then we won’t need to call, like any body wants to deal with the agents’ lazy ass attitude. They are so inefficient, they wont update the status until the case is finalized.
What confuses me is a PR application is pretty costly. Why do these guys not have resources available when we are paying more than $1000.00 per person. Their call centers should be efficient. On a regular day trying to get in touch with these guys is close to impossible now they shift resources to assist afghan Refugees. So where exactly is our money going? This is total bullshit.
Totally understand. We are the peasants whose dependent on them. I bet their laughing their asses off when considering the fatigue and stress we have to go through.
No update ……..seems like ircc is not processing any of the files …..we are stuck they should help the people who are paying the taxes here…… from long time we are not able to buy house, study further and apart from this house price are sky rocking these days….. god have mercy on us …..
I believe if you are employed contributing to their tax system then you are at the bottom of the list. Its better to be a refugee or unemployed. You would get PR faster.
