Afghanistan application priority

Hi does anyone know how the application for Afghanistan is being prioritized?
Its pretty fats

I called last week. The IRCC informed that all PR applications are still in process but resources for responding to enquires have been shifted to Afghani applicants and urgent requests only. the agent confirmed all other applications are still in process and they did not stop. Lets hope for the best

Honestly no one can predict their actions. I got to hear many cases where they were surprised way earlier than they expected. Best of luck!

You have to send them an email letting them know you are asking for urgent processing under the current measures. I did last week and I am waiting for a response. I did so, after I read on their website that we have to let them know we want urgent processing. This is the email address: IRCC.SituationAfghanistan.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

I do not fall under the Afghani situation as I am from Yemen. Will this email help despite the fact that my citizenship is different? Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

The timeline is just an estimate based on average processing times and not a true reflection of potential processing times,

Today I received letter stating they sent my dependents application to London.
So i dont know how are they gona do the biometric as Afghanistan is out of service for biometrics and also all borders are closed no flights
