PR CARD RENEWAL TIMELINE 2021

It won’t show in MyCIC/GC Key. You have to check it in eCAS, the site I linked previously.

If you have an AOR already, you should have eCAS access by now.

Your card will have been mailed if the status is “complete”.

When I login to the link on paper application check, it says decision has made, however, no update, email, or any document follows. What is your guesses?

Well that’s actually good news.

Next thing you wait to wait for is a 4th line indicating the date the card was mailed out, and the status to turn from Decision Made to Complete.

Took 5 months. No other updates besides that they got the application 3 and 1/2 months after, even though my courier tracking said it got there 2 days after I shipped it. Card arrived in the mail today after 5 months of waiting. April 7, 2021 I shipped the application, card in hand Sept 7th 2021.

Was never able to link the application to the online site. OCAS never worked either. Tried many times. We gave up after 3 months. All we got was an email saying that they got the application 3 and 1/2 months later.

ECAS will only work the day after you get the email.

3. We started processing your application on September 22, 2021.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on September 27, 2021.
