Greetings

My wife and I were interviewed (for citizenship) on May 21, 2021, and 4 categories of the citizenship process (language skills, citizenship test, background verification, prohibitions) were updated to "Completed" on May 28, 2021, except for "Physical Presence", which remains as "In Progress".

16 weeks have gone by with no change in this single category and - just so everyone knows - there is nothing incorrect or "shady" in my entire application.

Anyone else in the same predicament?

Has anyone had a shorter wait time than this?

Cheers!

I have my interview scheduled for late September. Would you shed some light on the process and type of questions in the interview please?

They interviewed me and my wife at the same time asking about employment, education and residential addresses across time.

It was only that. The agent said “your application is very straight-forward” sonshe didnt ask anything else.

best of luck.

Might be a case of oath backlog at your local office. Certain offices are very very slow in administering the oaths. That’s really it.

There are still some people who did their tests in Jan/Feb 2021 waiting for their oaths, while others have theirs scheduled for Feb 2022.

How many addresses - this should not be a problem but just trying to see if that could be as CIC processes things mysteriously sometimes :)?
Whats the number of days - is it close to 1095?
How much travel?

Or its just backlog like bellaluna said.
