Montreal office are still processing oath. 2 persons from this facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/montrealcitizenshipapplicants have their oath September 14th and 16thI think Montreal office has achieved its target for 2021 and now they are not doing any oaths procesing until next year.
only 2 ?Montreal office are still processing oath. 2 persons from this facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/montrealcitizenshipapplicants have their oath September 14th and 16th
Reading on that Google Docs attachment in some other group; looks like it's on average of 5 months for the Montreal office for routine processing from DM to actual Oath notification getting sent. Hope that's not the case, but you never know. The IRCC is "officially" finalizing applications received in the first week of June 2019. Given my AOR was in December 2019, it's probably looking closer to another 6 months for me... :/It's slow but still better than nothing
This could be one reason why they are slow. My question is: when QC limits immigrants to 50,000 per year, does this mean 50,000 PR and 50,000 citizens? I think this more accurate for PR because they require CSQ to apply for PR from QC, but for citizenship, if you have PR from any province, then you can apply for it in QC. If they consider 50,000 citizens a year, then it's not fair to process citizenship applications for PR from outside QC before those who went through an extra 12-18 months to get the CSQ and stayed in QC.I think Montreal office has achieved its target for 2021 and now they are not doing any oaths procesing until next year.
i really dont know. I think they have a cap on how many citizenship apps to process each month. Im getting my third application (paper) ready lolThis could be one reason why they are slow. Maybe, but it doesn't make sense to have a cap on citizenship applications because as I mentioned it doesn't require CSQ. If they actually do this, then the CSQ is useless.i really dont know. Does the way IRCC work make any sense to you ? They do every thing thay doesnt make sense lol 2020 and 2021 are getting oath invites .Maybe, but it doesn't make sense to have a cap on citizenship applications because as I mentioned it doesn't require CSQ.
