Hi!

I'm about to apply for Express Entry and I've got a few questions:

I worked from 2012 to 2015 as a store manager ( I suppose I fit under " Retail sales supervisor 6211 cat B") and I've been working on and off as a translator (self employed, 5125 Cat A) for a couple of years, and I'm not sure how to prove that I have worked 1560 hours. All my translation/localisation jobs were remote positions, paid per word, not per hour.

- Shall I just mention my previous work experience as a store manager since it's probably easier to prove? Will mentioning my current job as a translator help or hinder my application?

- When and if I get an invitation to move to Canada, will I only be allowed to work as a store manager or a translator? Will I be granted an 'open work permit'?

Thank you so much!

AL:rolleyes:

You can use either NOC as long as one is one year of continuous experience. You need to show that you don the job through mandatory employment letter or self employed (receipts, contracts etc.). You can do whatever you want when you get PR. What is your eligibility score and your CRS score.

Thank you Naturgrl!! :)

So I've calculated my CRS both with 3+ yrs and 1 yr work experience. With 3 yrs I get 444 points, with 1 yr I get 432. What are my chances of getting an invitation to apply AND be selected?

I also worked as an administrative assistant 1241 skill level B for 3 years. Can I use all three jobs retail manager (3+ years), administrative assistant (3 years) and translator (1 year but hard toprove how many hours i've worked) in my application?

Cheers :)

You will not get an invitation through EE as scores (when draws) resume will be around 470. You can use all your jobs as long as you can prove your hours.

Oh, do you mean the minimum score drawn will be 470 and it will never go down?
