There is nothing to suggest it does BUT I did read somewhere that an agent has to sign off on releasing your notes so it is possible that you get a slight advantage in that case that somebody looks at your file to send to you
Submitted request for the GCMS thing. Its called the Access to Information and Privacy Online Request. Never knew that. Guess I am never gonna use that name again.

No nothing yet. I open my account literally everyday 2-3 times to see. But no updates. Its becoming quite stressful. My visa is expiring in 2 months in October. Don't know what to do next.
Same here no updates yet..I have ordered GCMS notes that too will take 30 to 40 days. Going through a lot of stress. Hope you get a good news soon..

Waiting for eCOPR!

Meanwhile, nothing has been changed/updated in my CIC account since June 18 when medical passed. (Background check was never changed from "processing" to "in progress", eligibility is still under review....).

I just got a request for
“Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, please provide an original police clearance certificate from country x.”
I have lived in Canada as a student since the age of 17 and have not been back to my home country for up to 6 months since being here. I took a 2 week trip in 2013 and that’s it. I have been asked to provide a police report for that country.
Has anyone had this before ?

Yes. I did the same as you. They requested me to get a police certificate from home country. They don't care if you have been in canada since you were 10 yrs old, as long as you're not a PR or citizen you need a police clearance from home country.

Okay thank you. Did you provide any other documents like a letter of explanation?
