No progress after 27 April, 2021. I've raised a webform to upload my spouses new passport but no one has worked on this. This was done on 29th July. More than a month still no update. Agent mentioned that they received the webform but no officer has worked on this.

It is getting worse day by day dear as it’s almost 8 months n three year here in Canada.

Ive been in process for 21 months now, and have provided medicals for dependent 3 times, and for myself 2..

I also called today they stopped call back facility. After 40 minute wait I get a chance to speak to a agent but she refused to check my application or do anything. She told they busy in Afghanistan situation and can not check my application now.

Yes Call back facility is not available now... The Agent whom I spoke, did not say anything related to Afghanisthan.

Hi everyone, is it true that medical needs to remain valid for at least 6 months after they issue PR?? If thats the case, then it means we shouldn't keep our hopes up if the medical is already 6 months old?

I and my wife applied for PR as an inland application. My Wife had to travel to her home country on a family emergency. Now I got my ECOPR but my wife hasn't got any update yet. She is stuck in India as her visa got expired. She didn't receive the PPR Visa request. What should I do? Please advise.

Dear @legalfalcon . Please provide your thoughts on this. Thank you!

Your medicals have to be valid when the PPR is issued since the PR visa cannot be issued beyond the validity of the medicals.

In most cases, IRCC is not extending the medicals or asking for a re-med.

I think we get the portal email only if the application is approved. Isn't it?

Logically yes but i have seen in other forums that for some of them it reflected in ircc account after the portal mail.. I am not aware as iam still waiting for it after remedicals .. just wanna confirm with you.. so u can see an update in the gckey account before the mail right ?

IRCC is crazy! Even after sending the details for the portal request, IRCC keeps sending me a reminder email to send my details
