NOI Alberta

Hi , I received an NOI from Alberta recently. I have created my EE profile as married with non-accompanying spouse and I have a CRS score of 475. I would like to know if I opt for a provincial nomination, can I change my profile as spouse accompanying in the PNP application and later change the same in my EE profile. OR Can I update spouse status in EE profile before applying to AINP PNP.

As @Naturgrl mentioned, check with AINP if that will change your nomination. If it doesn't then personally I feel it is better to change status in EE profile before you submit the full application to AINP. It is important that one maintain consistency in the applications to various authorities within Canada to avoid troubles in the future.

In this case, APEGA certification is needed to be attached to the application. However, I am confused as the APEGA website doesn't have any guidelines for outland applicants.
Would anyone mind helping me through this?

For regulated professions, one may have to take the necessary certification from the province/authority before one can start working in Canada. So before a person get a job in that field he/she need to get certified. This may involve attending theory & practical classes and passing certain exams. AINP portal caters to both inlanders & outlanders. For inlanders they would have already obtained the necessary license if they have to work in the regulated profession. So they are required to attach the license. For those outlanders if don't have it, then don't have to attach it. Refer to the document check list it is mentioned as "Candidate ( if applicable )". I am not sure how this will affect the nomination though. I assume that if they have demand they will provide nomination, expecting that once you are in Canada you will undergo necessary certification before you start practicing in that profession if it is regulated.

Although it's not my first choice (I'd rather live in Ontario), I wonder if it would be unwise to let this opportunity go especially because IRCC is not conducting any draws for FSW applicants right now.
I'd love some guidance on the following:
- My primary NOC field is Mechanical Engineering, but I do not plan to work as an engineer after graduating from the MBA program I am currently in. Am I obligated to work in the field of my primary NOC if I accept Alberta's NOI?
- I'm trying to understand if I need to maintain a minimum residency term in Alberta before moving to another province. I couldn't find much information on this online.
- My understanding is that I have two weeks to reply to the NOI before it expires. Is that correct?
- How long does the PNP process take, on average? I realize there are tons of variables at play, but assuming a "normal" pace of progression, is it realistic to expect landing in Canada by the end of the year if I accept the NOI today?
