Actually, the officer had told him during his interview that it would take 3 months to get the OATH invite. Whit it did.
Thanks a lot for your reply. Well that means I got my ECAS updated to Decision Made on August 9th. Hence I will get my Oath Invite by November 9th. Thanks once again this whole process is going to take a very long time. I send my Application on 31st July 2019 it’s been more than 2 years now already.

Guys I need some advice. Our PR cards and country of origin passport expired last year and we don't have travel plans anytime soon but with Covid and families back home IDK what to expect. So my question is should we renew them from now because I don't know when it ever we will get some new back from IRCC.

Only citizenship test and background check completed since July.

You can find the office by :

1. Looking at the abbreviation of the office name in the test invite email.
2. GCMS notes
3. Calling IRCC (not possible now because they most likely don't answer anything else other than Afghan crisis matters)
4. Webform (Again, you might not receive a response)

I would say this is very risky especially in COVID. What if there is a medical emergency for an immediate family member abroad. It's your choice, but I at least won't feel comfortable with an expired passport and PR card. Besides, you are technically in a foreign country right now, so you should have a current passport always.
