Hi, can someone provide some guidance on the above...My medicals are expiring on the 30th of Sep 2021 and the latest status update is on the 4th of Nov 2020 confirming receipt, I contacted the CIC and they acknowledged that they also received my biometrics but it is not reflected on the profile.
Can you please advise if it's normal for the processing to take so long with the backlogs and if I'll need to resubmit my medicals if they don't process before the expiry? What can I do to speed up the process?
Dear Fyn,I have just been invited to apply for SINP, I have a degree certificate in petroleum engineering but my work experience has in supply chain and supervisor occupations - NOC 1215 in an oil service company. What do you advise, as my degree certificate is not totally related to my work experience
But let's say he has a Diploma in Human Resources Management/ MBA with HR as a specialisation. Won't he then be allowed to apply for SINP?If selected then they will question your NOC as guidelines are clear. Your education must match your NOC. 64 is a low score for SINP so not sure if you will get an nomination.
What is your NOC?But let's say he has a Diploma in Human Resources Management/ MBA with HR as a specialisation. Won't he then be allowed to apply for SINP?
see SINP invited you for which NOC and see experience n qualification in that noc code and prepare your documents accordingly that. degree is little different then may be ok if they ask graduate then all degree ok but first read each word of your noc.Dear Fyn,
What is the correct status of your EOI application ? I am an Engineer too but work in supply chain and claiming NOC 1215. What should I choose in the field 'Do you have a degree, diploma or certificate from a post-secondary institution in Canada related to the occupation you have chosen in your EOI?* '
My case is a similar one. I have done my bachelors in life science. Have been working as an HR for over 6 years now. Recently got a 1 year diploma in HRM. My NOC is 1121- HR professional. Am I eligible for SINP?What is your NOC?
So your education in HR was completed after your 6 years of work experience. So your work experience over the past 6 years doesn’t match your education, correct? What is your SINP score? My case is a similar one. I have done my bachelors in life science. Have been working as an HR for over 6 years now. Recently got a 1 year diploma in HRM. Your degree is what gets you the most points (20 points) but if you use your diploma to match the NOC, you only get 12.My case is a similar one. I have done my bachelors in life science. Yes, you've understood it correctly. SINP points-62.So your education in HR was completed after your 6 years of work experience. So your work experience over the past 6 years doesn’t match your education, correct? What is your SINP score?
Honestly your score is too low. 60 is the minimum score and most draws are at least 68 or more. Last few draws for your NOC was 73.Yes, you've understood it correctly. SINP points-62.
Still he will get 20 points for his Bachelors degree. They are two separate sections. No need to match highest degree with related NOC for education points.Your degree is what gets you the most points (20 points) but if you use your diploma to match the NOC, you only get 12.
