thanks. But I had never been to Canada in any capacity prior to landing for PR.

similar to:https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/question-about-listing-absence-in-the-physical-presence-calculator-had-not-lived-in-canada-prior-to-becoming-pr.736445/

Per that thread, I don’t need to list anything prior to becoming a PR (sorry for asking again! I just found that thread right now). Is that still a valid understanding?
Yes, that is correct.

I have 2 more questions:
1. If we had a visit visa (tourist) but we did not travel to that country, would we still include this visa status (visitor) in the question about History of immigration and citizenship status?
2. What if there is a mistake or incomplete documents and they ask us to send documents or resubmit the case due to incomplete documents, do we need to pay the fee again when we send the documents or resubmit the case?
Your Visas completely irrelevant to Statutes in countries.

1) They replied about a “time as a visitor” not about your VISA validity dates.
2) I would follow the official guide for citizenship which doesn’t mention any VISITOR status to be reporter rather that reply on Twitter. Ircc agents from call centre known for providing false information. I would treat Twitter the same as Call Centre-always false info providers.

Hi. Please include information about immigration or citizenship status in any country other than Canada in question 13 - this includes temporary statuses: visitor/tourist, student, employment/worker. From the information you have provided,

I wouldn't take the risk nor would I suggest the riskier option to others. If you want to try the riskier option, go ahead by all means but suggesting that to everyone else on a public forum isn't a good idea. If you click on the dropdown in the application form, there is an option called "Visitor". This change was made when the application form was updated in October 2020. When it comes to immigration, IMO, it is best to go with "Better safe than sorry" approach.

So, my recommendation is mention everything - All visas and/or statuses for Q13.

Good luck!

It doesn’t matter what any tweet say. Twitter is not official source of information.
I suggest just follow the GUIDE.

They never asked to write all the counties you visited in your lifetime before for citizenship. It doesn’t make any sense at all to be honest to mention all the countries you needed or countries visa free you visited when you were 2 years old until 50 years old. Complete nonsense.

I am preparing my documents to send out this week, and I would be grateful if you can help me with some questions.

1. I am going to send paper applications for my husband and me. Do I need to include a marriage certificate if both applications are going to be in one envelope?

2. To list all addresses and work experience, do I need to start from the date of my eligibility period indicated in the Calculator even if I was working at the same position 2 years before?

Thank you

-Marriage certificate not required
-Current work and address should be mentioned first. eg if your eligibility is between 1 Sep 2016 to 1 Sep 2021. But the previous work experience was from Jan 2012 to Oct 2017 then you should include this as the dates, and not limit it to the eligibility date. Same goes for the address.

Could you help me with one more question?
I am going to use my Web Design Certificate that I got in College as proof of language. It was part-time for one year. Do I need to include this education in section 11 (Tell us what you have been doing during the five (5) year eligibility period. You must list all your work and study history)?
Thank you

If this course was done between The eligibility period yes it should be included.
But on the other hand I am not sure if a Web Design Certificate can be used a proof of language m. I’d refer the query to @rajkamalmohanram
