Hi,

My recent GCMS notes says Background check is "in-progress" and in the comments column, I found some references on RCMP as below:

RCMP Fingerprints Police Certificate: Request Letter Sent R10 OK

Recommendation: Review Required - Pending Outstanding PC and Pending Biometric - RCMP Results

I have submitted my RCMP report 3 months back and I see status in my account as "ADR received and review in-progress".

Can you please throw some limelight on these red comments and give me some leads? any action items from our end can be done pro-actively

Much appreciate on your response.

Nothing really, you already submitted what they wanted and will finalize it once they touch your file again, someday. (Look at my timeline in signature)

got a reply from my MP over the long weekend.

  • The application was approved on June 28, 2021. However, a letter has not yet been sent to your constituent in order to confirm the decision.
  • Due to COVID-19, IRCC is experiencing processing delays and we can’t provide you with accurate processing times for this application. Rest assured that we understand how important this process is for your constituent and are making all the necessary efforts to finalize the application as soon as possible.

Thrilled to find out its approved:D! but portal email would have been nice :(
also got the same reply that the application is approved but no update in the portal. Please update here once you get the e-mail.

Does it say anything about your criminality? Sorry its taking so long, your file is following a different timeline as your spouse is outside canada so its in that slower processing group. I honestly cant tell when it will be done but hopefully before the end of the year

is your spouse in India? i think the travel ban probably made it even harder (compared to other countries with no travel bans). Does your criminality say anything about fingerprints required? or you already gave rcmp right, if so, all good.

PRBIO refers to the bio data, of eye colour, height etc, collected before the issuance of PR, nothing to worry about (id think that since you were already here on a permit of some sort, they already had all your stuff-- thats likely what it means).

Hey guys,

I would really appreciate it if someone can help me out here. I am getting really worried whether my pr card has been lost through mail.

Im BCpnp inland applicant. Received my eCOPR on June 24,2021. Updated photos and address on pr portal two days after that.
linked my pr card account on July and received an update on July 26,2021 that pr card has been mailed.

However, I am still waiting and have not received my pr card yet…is this normal? Should I be raising a concern to IRCC??

Im just really worried whether it has got lost in mail…

thank you for helping me out here!
