I feel like, if Trudeau doesn’t even give a hoot about what Canadian citizens feel what makes us think he would ever care about outland immigrants? Wouldn’t be surprised if this ill-treatment and stalling of applications continue for the foreseeable future. I mean, they don’t care! As the election progresses people will begin to realize that a Liberal loss might actually be better for us all in the long run. Liberal winning a minority seems a safer bet; but what assurance do we have that they won’t continue in the same path or even get worse?

Eghhh... I would not be to concern about that. Look at this guys. We know that there was a request to stop anyone coming over to Canada with unconfirmed status. They have stopped issuing the PPRs because of the Covid. It is really hard to believe that they will be doing this as they are doing. I have a strong feeling that FSW will resume under Liberals and also FSW will continue with them. Lets see what will happen in the future ;) I said that multiple times and I will say one more time. We will be positively surprised.

They stopped issuing PPRs and conducting draws because they don’t value high skilled immigrants not because of COVID. Students & refugees are allowed in because they are covid-free?

If i was post-AOR too, I’ll be tempted to want the Cons to win as well. The premium processing option makes alot of sense
As a post AOR, I'd love nothing more than to pay an extra fee and have my application expedited. But unfortunately, that's not something that can happen overnight. It'll mean many, many more months of my application stuck in limbo before the government can figure out a mechanism for that. A big change in the government will most likely lead to even more delays.

I understand that @Jaycejay - in my opinion there is something else in the equation however I will not say that here to avoid a shi*****. We all know how it was and how bad Covid was in other large countries. I am not trying to explain anyone here. Lets just wait till end of September to see what will happen :D I am still positive and I do not think Liberals will cancel FSW or make any changes now. Simply because they do not have enough people to fill the targets. So, lets be patient guys ;)

I understand how annoying it can get post-AOR but truth be told, after ordering GCMS and seeing my eligibility is conclusively passed, I wouldn't give a shit what happened to the rest of my app.
I had the same mindset before I got ITA. And I totally didn’t expect what happened next.
For us Dec 2020 AOR outlanders, most haven’t got their eligibility started while medical is about to expire in the next couple of months.

Just like those who are waiting in the pool, I’m impatiently hoping that an all program draw would happen this week. If they start to invite fsw, there would be no reason to put existing files on hold further. And if they are finally gonna process fsw files, no more reason to invite CEC only again.

Conservatives on 'rocket ride' as seat projection shows close race: Nanos

With just three weeks to go until the Sept. 20 vote, tracking data ending Sunday and released Monday morning shows the Liberals projected to win 111 seats versus 107 for the Conservatives, a sharp change from an Aug. 22 projection that had the Liberals ahead of the Conservatives 128 to 94. A projection from June had the Liberals at 171 seats versus 59 for the Conservatives.

Really want O'Toole to not mess things up now or in the debate. Two very stressful weeks... I'm not even living there...
