I recieved med extension on Aug 27.
My profile updated with this info "You passed medical exam Augus 27".
I hope it is a good sign.
I'm Feb 2020 FSW-Outland non-US resident
Good sign

I think they are lining up applications to issue PPR. May be after the border opens on Sep 7. We will see.
May be they are issuing re-med for people who need it and for others they are extending the medicals validity.
Yeah. I think border reopening will bring a chance of tide for good

Haven't received a re-meds request but did get a meds extension July 10

Hi, how did you find your medicals were extended -- did the portal show 'you don't need medical' and then update it into 'You passed medical' ? My AOR is May 15, 2020; and Medical should have expired in March 2021, but the medical status still says 'Passed' ... I want to know if they auto extended or the 'passed' status is false. Thanks

Thanks for creating this thread! We are FSW- O,... Indian citizens residing in UAE.

We are from September 2019 AOR batch, we had to add newborn back in March 2020 and completed the medical of newborn and wife as of May 2020.

As per latest GSMC notes received in March of 2021, the status shows approved under assessment and note 1 shows "**Officer review**, application approved." the update date for this was October 2020.

There has been no update since......

Good news, applicants with December 2019 AOR have started receiving PPRs. These were people who had not received COPR before. They have finally picked up FSW files.

Im Dec2019 Outland, thanks for sharing this news. Out of interest what are you basing this on?

Please let us know.. Where, how, when? Do you have any link to the group? Or atleast know the COR? Thanks in advance.

Which just proves my assumptions that applications older than a specific date would be ignored by IRCC. Sep 2019 AOR, US-based, NOTHING.
