[DECEMBER] Online Citizenship Applicants

Hello all - I am submitting my online application next week, a couple of questions:

1. Where do you guys check the status after submitting the application? Seems like the online application portal is different than the CIC portal, or do we link after the AOR?

2. Would it be a good idea to submit all pages of the passport along with the application, since it is usually requested at the time of test invite?

You don't get to check the application status until you get an AOR. About submitting your passport pages upfront, that might be a good idea. However, I doubt whether the online application has started supporting large file sizes (I said this as many people who submitted in Dec 2020 had issues if the strict file size wasn't followed). Check it out and see.

Just wondering why they ask some applicants for fingerprints. @Pran6009, has it been more than 10 years since you gave IRCC your fingerprints?

Hello Happy Friday - is it normal for the online tracker to indicate that I have been invited for a test invite but with no email in my inbox yet?
For the record, the tracker was updated just this morning (27AUG) for a test invite in early September.
And yes I did check my spam
So I suspect that it could just be a delay but figured I could benefit from our collective experience.

On August 3rd my file was transferred to the Scarborough office.

The tracker is showing that the test activity status was updated yesterday and I should take the tests between September 3rd and 23rd. Waiting to receive the email invitation.

Wow! Congratulations!!! Your test was completed the same day you wrote the test. Good job Winnipeg office. Here I am after 1 week of my test (I even took the test the day it became available) still waiting for it to be completed. Hamilton or Niagara office is really at work!!!

Just curious to know the office that sent the test invite since you mentioned that Scarborough is heavily backlogged.
