2. I opened the oath form, placed the signature in 2 places on the form (one under the oath wording and the other under prohibitions) and emailed the form in about 10 minutes.

How they send you this oath form to sign via zoom or on your email after ceremony?

You'll find this form as the last page in the attachment you receive with your oath invite email.

PART 2
16. The judge then mentioned that since April 2021, IRCC has given citizenship to approximately 50,000 applicants.
This does not make sense. Could it be that he meant April 2020? Because if it is April 2021, then they have to process around 10,000 applications per month meaning around 2500/Week, which doesn't sound correct.

Right now, they are processing hardly 2500-3000 per month. So Since April-2020, which is around 16 months, then 3000 X 16 = 48,000 (Which is close to what he said). So I kind of assume that he meant April 2020, not April 2021.

He specifically said April 2021 (and then added "in just 4 months" referring to the time between April 2021 and August 2021). Anyway, the corporate records that I have requested might throw some light into this.

I heard him say 55000 from April 2021, yesterday. Raj, the same judge who swore you in.

I'm pretty sure he said 50,000 (in fact, he said "almost 50,000"). My oath was on August 23rd and the judge was from Mississauga (Judge Wong).
Was the samje Judge as I said, and he upped the number to 55000. So 5000 people administered oath in 3 days - Mon morning to Thursday afternoon??

Not likely. Let's see - I have requested corporate records from IRCC asking for some details about the progress they made since Jan 2021. That file will contain this information.

Great thread! Great moment!

Would have been even better if one of the judge or participant had a cat filter on which he could not turn off. LOL!

@rajkamalmohanram Can you confirm if Seat # was mentioned on your oath invitation letter ?
No. Like I've mentioned in the post, seat # is assigned by the administrator before sending you to a breakout room.

The administrator then asked me to unmute myself and asked for my last name. I told him and then he gave me a seat # (Seat # is basically the breakout room # that you will be put in).
