Okay so I got through with ircc. Agent was very rude. Said ircc only handling emergency situations right now and would not give updates on applications. He said all information is available online and I should read/listen to instructions. I kept asking if he can atleast say what stage my application is in, agent said I'm wasting his time and if I need to leave canada I am welcome to do it. I told him nevermind and ended the call.

IRCC give 0 fck about there applicants. I dont even care anymore. I will be going back to my home country and finally meet my family. They can give PR to me in 2025 and probably by then I dont even wanna live in Canada anymore.

Add me to this boat. I'm leaving Canada Oct 2021. Reuniting with my family and my home after 5 wasteful years in Canada. The treatment we meet here is unbelievable yet again these people go on social media trying to fool the world they are so immigration friendly.

No, we don't need to inform them. But come to think of it, I might need some guidance because I paid $500.00 landing fee. If my application is denied I'll be reimbursed but if my application is approved and I am not returning to Canada how do we get our landing fee back.

I called IRCC today and they told me that we can’t access your file now and right now our all workers are just processing the application for Afghan refugees so don’t know when this guys will resume work.

I called IRCC today and they told me that we can’t access your file now and right now our all workers are just processing the application for Afghan refugees so don’t know when this guys will resume work.

I need the COPR to be eligible for applying for the nursing program... Maybe I have to wait for another year

Called IRCC 6 times, security not started since June, others passed. VO changed from Edmonton to Ottawa on July.
Last call 7.22, no updates, security still not started. Got no GU at all.
Anybody knows what’s going on with security, I don’t even have any GU.
Seriously having panic attacks over this, got so many stuff that requires PR needs to be done.

Was in the same situation.

RPRF Request: June 8; paid June 10
Eligibility: passed according to call on June 23

Criminality in progress since June 23. Then called again on July 28 and agent said criminality still in progress and security not started but others passed.

Finally some update: Got an Additional Document Requested (ADR) to submit RCMP police certificate. Will try to see, how to get it done.
