NOC Code......
2283
Hello there,

I am a Bachelors degree holder in Computer Science and Engineering and I have four years of good experience in NOC 2283 job . While trying the CRS Score tool, I found that I can only reach 435 score and everywhere I read in internet is the Cut off score of 470 for FSW :(

Will it be good idea to join a masters degree , complete it and then start my express entry process or should I go for PNP program right now? I am in so much dilemma. Also if I joined masters and then changed my job ( for Example to NOC 2171, 2172) for a year, then will my experience count be in addition to that of my previous experience ( i.e 5 years?). Thank you for all the people in this forum for taking your time and all the help you do. I can't thank you enough!

Maximum foreign work experience you can claim points for is 3 years. You can boost your CRS score by doing a master's degree and improving your language results. If you can get into the EE pool right now and you meet the criteria for PNP programs go for it man.

Good luck!

thanks for the suggestion! I would surely proceed with that.

Still, my one open concern is, if i changed the job to another NOC, can I say that i have skilled job experience by adding experience years of both NOCs? or should i just mention the one that i am currently working on?

You'll have to choose a primary NOC code but you can use multiple ones for your application. You'll get points for each full year of work experience in a NOC code (Skill Type 0-B) completed in the last 10 years. So even if you changed job, you can still use your last job's NOC code as your primary NOC in your application.
