Hello Everyone,
We have a outland spousal application submitted on Aug 20, 2020. File is at Ottawa office right now.
On march 19th, we got email saying "Ready for visa". It was an auto generated email.
Email also said, If the principal applicant is inside Canada, do not send the passport. Due to COVID-19 situation, person will be landed virtually.
Asked us to fill a webform to inform that the person is inside Canada.
We submitted the webform very next day but they never received our webform. Called IRCC and they left a note in our application that the applicant is inside Canada. Ottawa office received that note in the beginning of June.
Today, again I got the email saying "Ready for Visa". Says the same thing that If the principal applicant is inside Canada, do not send the passport. Person will be landed virtually.
I called IRCC today and an agent asked me to not send passport to Ottawa office and left a follow up note in account saying the person is still inside Canada.
Did someone else faced similar situation?
Please advise what to do in this case.
Thank you very much in advance.
