January 2021 on wards Paper Based PR Applicants (PNP) waiting for AOR/MR/PPR/COPR - Let's join here and share application updates and status

Hi friends,

I am a primary applicant in my paper-based PR application and I have a dependent (outland). I am eligible for Express entry under CEC.

1) Is there anybody here who has initially applied for a PNP paper-based PR application and later applied to Express entry under CEC after getting an ITA?

2) I am just wondering, which process would be faster considering my case (inland primary applicant + outland spouse) - Express entry CEC or Existing paper-based PR application?

3) Is there anybody in a similar boat?

Hi, I sent my inland PNP-paper based application on Feb 27 2021 and I’m still waiting for AoR. I just moved to new home address, and I’m worrying about IRCC sent mail to my old home. May I know how will I be notified for AoR? By mail or email? Thanks.

by email. you can send a webform and ask temporarily file number and then again send webform and tell your new address

when we get work permit we need to apply for visitor visa again. how long it take to process visitor visa inside canada
somebody told it takes 6 months is it true. last year it was only one week

Yea even I had applied on may 16 still waiting. My frnds got TRV stamp after 5 mnths.

It took a friend just 78 days to get PR through CEC

Applied to visa on January 10th, they confirmed submission on January 29th, no news after that. So it might take even longer than 6.

Best option we have in Canada is to forward all you Post to you new address (Canada Post Mail Forwarding) I would suggest to use that option, it will make you more secure by any chance you get any document it will sent to your new address.

I tried to call IRCC today but I heard a voice recording telling that they would not be entertaining any questions except for a few specific reasons as they have allocated all the resources to the Afghan Crisis. I guess it would also be effecting the application processing times. I feel for the those in need in Afghanistan, and support humanity but Canada is a rich country and could hire staff to accommodate the surge in demand.
