SIN - How long does it take to get one with online application

Hey guys, how long does it take to get a SIN after applying online? I just landed but they didn't have a SIN office at the Vancouver airport. I heard applying by post took a month... How about online application?

If you apply online, you will have to wait until the SIN document arrives at your address.

Do not apply it online or by post!!! It takes very long time. I've been waiting for almost a month. And there are a lot of people who had waited for 3 months to get their sin number. Go to the service center and get it in 10 minutes.

They say not to go to Service Center without an appointment. I filled a request form online but they always call me when I'm not available. Should I just go to a Service Center anyways?

Can we go get a SIN number at service center, if already applied online?
