Emailed all required docs for PRTD: 15th July 2021
Passport request letter: 28th July 2021
VFS webform: 28th July 2021
Payment link from VFS: 29th July 2021
Sent passport via BlueDart courier: 30th July
Delivery to VFS Begaluru: 2nd Aug
Delivery to VFS Delhi: 11th Aug
Delivery to IRCC Delhi : 11h Aug
Counterfoil Generated: 17th Aug
Received Passport: 19th Aug

When you submitted application? It is approved?

No I didn’t got approval yet. I submitted my application on 20th july. I sent a follow up email last week they said its in process once approved then they will sent passport request.

Hello Everyone,
I applied for PR from inside Canada and travelled to India, In Feb.2021 I applied for TRV and in March2021 received COPR asking me to comeback to Canada on TRV to accept PR status. Recently my TRV application got cancelled saying I am already became PR in March 2021. Now I can not go back to Canada until I get PR visa and new COPR. Has anyone done this before? How long it takes them to transfer file to India, re-issue COPR and PPR for PR Visa.
Please let me know.

PRTD application timeline:

Emailed all required documents on 20th July
No reply from IRCC for 15 days.
Again emailed all required documents on 5th August
Passport request on 5th August itself
Filled up VFS webform on 6th August
Received payment link on 10th August
Payment made on 10th August and received AWB on same date.
Passport picked up on 12th August
Received by VFS New Delhi on 16th August
Received by IRCC office on 17th August
Counterfoil generated on 18th August
Passport received on 21st August.

I recommend if someone is waiting for more than 15 days after sending all docs via email, try to email them again with same documents.
It worked for me.

I think you misinterpreted the email. You would have received an email asking you if you were in Canada or not. If you did not update your address you were given virtual landing for those who are in Canada. Your only option is to apply for a PRTD.

Its better to send all the blank pages in your passport in a single PDF file otherwise they will ask us to send the all pages.

Hi, I’m currently in US but my PR card had been mailed on my Address in Canada. I have applied for PRTD as well. Does anybody know if its safer to just get my pr card mailed to us as it will be quicker than waiting for PRTD.

Now to travel Canada via indirect route do I need Letter of Authorisation or my visa is sufficient ?
On my Visa it is written as :

RC-1 Permanent Resident
My travel agent said that I need Letter of Authorisation , is this true ?

Hello, I would like to know about your situation,Just wanna know if it matches mine. So, In my case, I applied for PR when I was in Canada. I left Canada and receive COPR. Is that the case? Can you tell me time line or your situation? That will help me alot.
