You could again reply to that email with your updated information because that email is not do not reply one email. So they can read it. Also, fill the webform about this Ircc will notice this issue.
Also, portal client email department and IRCC both are different body and work individual and eventually they send IRCC to your information and IRCC take decision.

Or if you are planning to come back in Canada within few days then it will be fine.

I received a request letter in my profile which was a spousal relationship questionnaire (inclusions of a spouse on a permanent residence application). As a part of this form, I had to send communication proof (examles were phone bills, emails, letters, texts and chat messages, etc.). I also had to send photos on our travels, dates and outgoings, marriage and engagement ceremony together with answering other parts.

Hello! For the proof of communication like texts and chat messages did you had it translated to english?

I did not accept the COPR, rather what I did was write a brief explanation stating about my marriage and I provided the documents way back in march and my spouse is not added to the application. Post that I called 1 (888) 242-2100 and spoke to the agent and he confirmed the discrepancy from there end. And reopened my file.. if you accept COPR there is no turning back (until I know) and you will need to apply for spousal sponsorship.


In my case I was ok to wait for my file to reopen and my spouse to be added to my application and be processed. Since spousal sponsorship paper work is painful (atleast for me)..

Hi guys,
We got COPR email yesterday.
It took likely 3 months from the date I added my spouse.
IRCC sent an email to both of us asking for confirmation UCI, date of entry, etc to get ready for PR online portal.

Hi, I received request from IRCC to include extra docs for spouse such as travel forms, evidence photos (Wedding, honeymoon). Also, they requested
"If you are living together, evidence such as copy of bills, bank statements, lease agreement(s),drivers licenses showing your names and address (10–15 pages max)". Since I am in Canada, while my spouse in back home. Is it necessary?

Now, i read through the comments on this thread. my question is IMM0008 (Generic Form) is filled by both applicant and spouse?
OR
only the applicant? because it has option to add spouse as dependant by expanding the dependant tab in the form.
OR
spouse write whole form again and add me as dependent and submit both forms first one being me as primary and second my spouse being primary?
there's conflicting info in the comments here.

also, for Imm0008dep form:- it says on website that if you have more than 5 dep you fill that form but on this thread people are saying filling this form anyway and upload it.?
which one is correct please guide me?

IMM0008, you have to update Box 13 to Married. From then it will pop up other required section, so you will add your spouse information. Ultimately, your form will have more pages, it's called defendants. I believe everyone should be filled up in this form.

No need to translate them, the form asks you in what language you communicated, and you should send th as they are

Proof of communication? I think you are confused. That is by no means something you would have to submit when adding your spouse after AOR, that would be part of an spousal sponsorship application. A WHOLE different thing.
