just wanted to ask you what documents did you submit with your application. i have upload three documents excepts forms and fees receipt . 1 passport copy as id. 2 notice of decision 3 photoes passport size front and back. any other document needs to submit. i dont have police clearance certficate yet from back home.

I don't think you need any police clearance document as of now unless, they ask you after receiving your application. If you can add your national Identity card it will be good.

I submitted my permanent resident application online on August 5, and I haven't received any news yet. I wonder if I have received it or started processing it? I think it takes 23 months. The processing time for online application and paper mailing should be the same?

It is estimated that it will take us five years from submitting the application to today to obtaining the permanent residency status. But there is nothing to complain about, thank you Canada! ~

5 years?? It takes 23 months to process your PR application not 5 years.

You are right in your calculations but applying for refugee does not guarantee getting PR. Some ppl can get hearing date sooner, like less complex cases
