Is there a way to request for an urgent Citizenship Certificate? As I need to apply for passport soon.

Yes. Just tell the IRCC officials at the ceremony and tell them why you want the certificate urgently. You might be asked to submit proof as to why you need the passport soon.

At passport Canada / Service Canada, you'd need proof of travel to apply for a passport urgently.

I am in the same situation, my current passport expired on August 14th. Do we need the passport during the oath ceremony, why would it be a valid reason for urgent processing? Asking these to understand the case and to request urgent processing for myself too tia

The OP is trying to apply for an urgent Canadian passport. Your current passport expiry isn't a valid (or logical) reason for expediting Canadian Citizenship certificate. Its okay if your current passport is not valid during the ceremony.

Which office are you? What date is your AOR?

I think it would be using the email address that you received as regional CIC office.

Wait until tomorrow. If you don't receive it by tomorrow, call them at 1888-242-2100 and tell them you haven't received an email for oath yet. Call around 8 AM local time so that you can get through to an agent quickly.

Mine is already expired since March 2021, have you tried to email them to process the certificate asap?

I have submitted my US PCC with my application back on March 12th. I submitted it because it was close to 183 days(171 days in my case) but not more than 183 days if we subtract 4 years. This today came back to haunt me.
I got an email mentioning to submit original PCC instead of photocopy with my application. I have submitted my PCC original copy with the application and now not sure how to approach it. Anyone in similar situation?

Tell them that its original and they are also just printing in ordinary white paper which will look like photo copy but its original from fbi.
Tell that they changed the format couple of years ago. Explain that 4-5 years ago it was different.

This is the problem with these old school guys who are not up to date. Either they should know or they should be trusting us. Both dont happen due to rogue cic officers.

Worst case option: Apply now and get a new one, i think it comes within a month nowadays. Submit them without even opening the envelope.

Now, i am not sure if its going to haunt me too as i too submitted it with my application.

I did it by calling them was the fastest way.
