Does your sister also work at the restaurant? There is always suspicion when it comes to very small businesses like this that a person is only a supervisor in title only. The fact that you work for a family member may increase the potential concerns that you are only a supervisor in name only. Would make sure you can prove your role and prove why a supervisor is needed if your sister also works at the restaurant as an owner.

Yes I have. My sister is only working temporarily at this restaurant because next month she is opening a new business and will no longer work here. A lot of the supervisor duties in such a small business are often done by the owner which is why there is often a concern whether there is actually a supervisor in such a small business.
