Hi Everyone, this is my timeline for citizenship. Just wondering if anyone can share the email address in the oath invite email to reschedule the oath ceremony for Scarborough Office? I will leave Canada due to work in October and it would be very difficult for me to travel back to Canada and take the oath in December. Thanks in advance!

You'll receive an oath email about 1 to 2 weeks before the oath ceremony. You will then follow the instructions on the IRCC website.

You need to be in Canada to take the Oath of Citizenship. If you get your invitation while you’re outside Canada, reply to the invitation email to explain your situation in detail.

In your email

• put “Outside Canada – Oath of Citizenship” in the subject line
• In the body of your message, include
  • your full name
  • your application number
  • a detailed explanation of your situation

We’ll contact you with your next steps after we receive your email.

I have a similar long wait time for Oath (Nov 12, 2021) but it's not clear if it is on-line or in person. We won't know until we receive an official email with instructions.

So I did check the new tracker today and my status everything is completed except test. Test is In progress
But when I checked old tracker it says Decision Made. Now i am confused !

If you are exempt from Test then DM is correct or nowadays they have some glitch which shows Test as Inprogress. It should be fine. Wait for oath.

I am thinking of messaging JT that if i get my citizenship before Sep 20th ill vote for him. May be thats the way to get things expedited

One month time is too short for any govt department, that too especially for cic.
Even if we work at cic, it will be diffictult to finish the process and arrange oath(that too when they have lot of backlog for oath). Its not like test where they can issue test invites and we can finish surely within 3 weeks.

thats the thing i dont understand, if thats a virtual oath why cant they just do 1000 people at a time and clear the backlog

Unfortunately they are only arranging 10-30+, not see anything above 60(as i vaguely remember 60 but i may be wrong).
So i dont know whats their problem.

Correct, they held 100+ people with one citizenship officer/judge during prepandemic but they cant do it online, i dont know why and what they plan to do.

Possibly the IT team is not willing to allow more participants or officers arranging oath are having trouble with technology to handle more volume.

I did my test in April. Today 2 year completed on my citizenship application. Still no idea when I will be a Canadian citizen .. may take another 5-8 months.

It's not for me, although I got my GCMS notes yesterday that says event was created by mistake and refer to old event for any action. It also says my file is ceremony ready. I still send them email asking them to mark test as complete, to put it on record

No, enterprise license guys can do it for 500 people. But they should at least do 100 which is not being done(as usual some black hole reason which drags everything).
But not sure if IT team or officers limiting it. I assume there is no issue in purchasing license.
