Your test will certainly be delayed as they don't allow oath to happen out of the country. This might change in the future but if you're in Canada, best thing would be to get the oath done and fly to India.
Test< Allowed to take outside Canada (we have few candidates took it once they confirmed from their Local Visa office)
Travel ban< the time is Uncertain, they kept extending it since couple of Months, worst case scenario they May extend again.
Oath: People trying to contact to take it outside but Yet no one got the Confirmation AFAIK.
Travel back through 3rd Country< it is your choice , but Many are using this route to return. There are some hiccups. If you would like to rely on the direct flights, again that's your choice. Direct Flights May take longer than expected to resume.
Thos is a very unusual circumstance. Not a lot of people waiting 5 years for PR and the issues is that they can’t get some answers so that the father can pass the security screen thus the delay.
Hello. What do you mean by request for passport copies? Are you supposed to send copies of all pages of the passports held during the 5 years? Thanks and good luck!

I’m new here and kinda concerning about my application right now. I hired immigration consultant so file my citizenship application back in January. The tracking said it’s delivered in Jan 18th. It’s paper application, almost 7 months now and I have not received any AOR yet. AOR is usually issued after 3 months. Should I be worried that my application got lost? Has anyone here applied back in January and still has not received AOR?
I keep checking ecas using my UCI but it keeps saying no record found.

Thanks for the reply. So I am assuming people are still getting oath invitations while outside Canada after they are writing their tests from outside. Let me know if I am right?

So are we suppose to send copies of all the pages of our passport or do they ask for it only in certain cases? As far as i remember everyone was just sending the passport info. Pages which is first couple and last. I guess they ask for all the other pages If you left the country after you applied or something like that.

Just wanted to share my update - there is an info in the tracker that I am supposed to take the test between 17 Aug and 6 Sep
Good luck for your test. May I know when did you receive this test update on tracker?
We received the test on 10th of August, it was reflected to the system on 13th of August
