@HeidiA - I sent an inquiry and today I saw all completed except Oath (not started)... ECAS shows DM.

@AmericanCanadian007 - congrats. Did you get any emails for Oath? I think you are also in Halifax right?

Thanks! No, I am in Toronto. I believe you will get an email communication about a week or two prior to the oath date, same like Test email which had me panicked sine I did not receive it until like 2 days before its start date!

I was told 4 to 6 weeks.. but it varies from one location to another.. i guess it all depends on the number of ceremonies they have lined up... I cannot wait I am checking my application status every hour!!

I would say give it a week, this is what i am planning to do.. wait until next week and then send another polite nudge...

March 2020 applicant from Mississauga... still waiting for test invite. My friends who applied in January 2021 already got their test invites. So frustrating! How long will they use Covid-19 as an excuse for their incompetence!!

I was told that most of the federal employees are working remotely and they are expected to work from the office in September 2022, I assume the same applies to IRCC

Yes, so oath IP status usually happens in one or two days after DM although I have seen it can take a week to few weeks. For me, all happened in one day. The actual email will not come until a week or two before the ceremony date as far as I now. So good luck to you and all my other friends in this forum!

Lucky! My DM was 28 July, yet my ceremony status is still Not Started :\ At this point, I am really hoping for a November or December ceremony. Would love to have this process end this year.

Jul 8, 2021: Citizenship test status has been updated to In progress.
July 21,2021: I received information asking for coloured copy of my passport information.
Jul 23, 2021: Scheduled for citizenship test.
July 23,2021: Passed citizenship test with 19/20.
July 26,2021: I emailed immigration a pdf copy of my passport information.
Aug 5, 2021: Citizenship test activity status updated.

Does anyone know when to expect the next updates?

Very similar timeline as me! My citizenship test has not been updated online yet but hopefully it will be soon
