Co Op Work Permit - How Do I Know That I Have One?

Hi guys,

My study permit application was approved in July. My program starts in Fall 2021.
My program will run for 3 semesters.

In the 3rd semester, I will have to go for a field placement. So in order to do this field placement, I will need a co-op work permit for it.
In my Letter of Acceptance given by my school, there is an added page that certifies / requests that I be issued a co-op work permit for the field placement.

Now my study permit is approved, but in the Letter of Introduction issued by IRCC, there is no mention of the work permit.
So how would I know if I have the work permit given or not? Is there any way to check this?

Thats the problem. I can't remember for sure.
So thats the reason I am asking. How do I know that I have one issued or not?

Your study permit will state if you are authorized to work only for your college or university. If so, you most likely have a study permit.

Try and check your TRV -- is it S-1 or SW-1 ?

You applied for a study permit and the LOI type showed Permit -WP / Permis - PT. This means that you will get both a study permit and a co op work permit.

Same as what my son received in his gckey, he only got the work permit letter. But in the mail, he received both the SP and WP.
