Is your spouse a PR? If so, have you applied for spousal sponsorship. No way to expedite.

Yes, my spouse is a PR. I have started the process for spouse visa as well.

So order GCMS notes for visitor visa. Getting approval is difficult because you have a spousal sponsorship application underway. It is a challenge to prove that your spouse is coming only to visit and not live permanently.

I haven't upload the spouse visa application yet, I'm still gathering all the documents and information for that.

Try to get the spousal sponsorship application submitted as soon as you can.

There is a relatively high rate of refusals for TRVs for spouses since IRCC often assumes you have plans on remaining in Canada long term. So you definitely want to get the sponsorship application submitted so that the processing time can start for that application.

Processing times for TRV from Dubai are about 470 days+ so the visa is within processing times. Get your spousal application in.

Try to get the spousal sponsorship application submitted as soon as you can.

I'm preparing my application, will submit in 1-2 week. My husband moved to Canada last month only.

Processing time is a lot. I have also submitted the web form to prioritize my application as an immediate family member to PR, it's been 9 days. I hope to get an update on my application soon, as they've mentioned they will get back to me in 14 business days.

i applied webform as i am ammidiate family member (Spouse) of PR but they refused my request said u do not qualify to enter canada untill travel restrictions
