Completely agreed with you guys. I am unable to understand IRCC's promise about 6 august

I have seen few people who applied in Dec 2020. They are yet to receive their decisions. I am afraid of this situation.

Yeah, this is exactly what I'm talking about. My heart goes out to those people, I can only imagine what it must feel like for them. Nobody deserves to be treated this way.

Did you raise a web form or applied for GCMS? Because 4 months is gross. What is your intended program?

I've sent many webforms, but didn't get any good replies. I'm going for M.Sc in Physics.

Anyone who got PPR without eligibility review started. It's been 2 weeks since my medical update.
Filed my application on June 1.

I applied in April 26, since my upfront medical is been updated ( passed ) in July 26 and my background check updated to ( we are processing... ) the same day; since then no more update, even my eligibility review has not started

Any Idea. How many applications Visa officer handle at a time?

Handling of number of visa applications depends on type of applications submitted.

A visa officer usually deals between 15 to 40 applications in a working day.

This figure was quoted back in 2013 by Ms Angela Gawel of IRCC when she was Director General of 'International Region' at IRCC.

Ms Gawel is the current Area Director of IRCC for North Europe and Gulf States, with official responsibility for certain number of IRCC visa offices in Europe & Middle East & IRCC
Abu Dhabi visa office is one among them.
