I've updated the spreadsheet.I passed the citizenshipt test today (20/20). I'm now waiting for my results to be validated.
Please, could someone update the spreadsheet? I'm an April 2020 applicant.
Thanks.

Hi piotrqc,Hello,
I have a question, to you and everyone who took the test recently.
Are there a lot of questions with dates (historical events, with multiple choice dates) ??
Thanks a lot.
Hi piotrqc,
People cannot discuss questions
HiWhy not ?
I'm not asking for sample questions. The Discover Canada guide is here to review.
I ask if there are many questions related to dates, that's all. Yes or no ... How is it wrong to discuss this?
Hi
I'd also like to ask the same question.....why can questions not be discussed? An absolute ludicrous reply, given that this forum is to assist others.
I achieved 18 out of 20, I can't remember the questions word for word, but yes you're looking at a mix of historical questions, government related and in general if the 'Discover Book' is read I'd say twice with a combination of sample questions from online practice tests....then in theory you should be fine.
I won't say like others that it's easy or a walk in the park but with some study.....everyone should be capable of achieving 15 out of 20.
Thanks

Well, IMO, you can discuss the format of the questions and what mix of questions you had, just not copy and paste the actual questions you got for the test . I don't see an issue in discussing question "formats".Hi piotrqc,

Even though I was ready for this type of question, I didn't get any questions asking about dates or specific people's names. I'm not sure if I was lucky and they are never asked. It was easier than I thought, but I studied well.Hello,

Hello Raj, I received the test invite email. Test window is Aug 3rd to 23rd. Will update after I take the test.
I've updated the spreadsheet. In many cases, it happens in a couple of days. However, it might take longer than that for some people. My wife and I passed our tests yesterday. How long is it taking these days, for the test status on the tracker to change to "completed"?

Wife will be wife.I didn't get questions on dates, but relevance of some historical events did pop up. There are several questions where common sense, and general curiosity about the functioning of democracies and liberal societies, comes in handy. There are of course also several where rote memorization is essential.
How you prepare depends a lot on your test-taking style. My wife spent a couple of weeks methodically reading everything, and taking every possible mock test on the internet. She also enjoys knowing these things, and already had a head start as she's been reading Canadian history alongside the kids for their school work. On the other hand, I spent 1 full day, and cups and cups of coffee, to read a hard copy of Discover Canada start-to-finish with detailed note taking. Then I immediately took all the tests here (Pass Your Canadian Citizenship Test First Time - Free Quiz | Apnatoronto) back-to-back, with a careful review of questions I got wrong. Then with boat loads of these facts in my short-term memory (and another espresso) I took the test and passed. My wife is not impressed with my test prep strategy, but we got the same score

The test status will be set to "Completed" in a few days.Hi all,
As previously mentioned, I completed the test last Saturday. When I check my application status on the CIC website, the status is "Waiting on you".
Will that status change back to something like "In progress" or change right away to "Complete" when they make a decision? I see that in the spreadsheet there is a column called "Decision Made date ecas estimate" and the average time seems to be around 2 months.
Thanks.
