I sent citizenship applications for me, my wife and my daughter in March 2021. In July, we got AORs for my wife and daughter (one day apart), but not for me. I'm wondering if there could be something wrong with my application? Has anyone experience something like this?

That's good news because if there were anything wrong with one application, all the other applications would also be returned (at least that was the regulation the last time I checked). If they got AOR, it is very likely that you'll receive yours too.

Good luck!

Hi rajkamalmohanram! Thank you for your answer!

I just realized what's wrong. I reviewed my application and realized I forgot to provide my e-mail address (facepalm)

I called IRCC, but could not speak to an agent. Instead I submitted a web form asking them to include my e-mail address and send me an AOR. Do you know what's the timeframe for them to reply to such a request? I haven't gotten any reference number or confirmation e-mail. It's a bit frustrating to be in a limbo...

Not sure, it could take a couple of weeks for them to respond. Try calling around 8 AM local time and see if you are able to reach them.

To anyone who has made the same mistake I have (not including their e-mail address in the paper application): I got a paper AOR by mail today, with my application number. With that, I was able to log in to the CIC website where I can monitor my application.

Yes, they mention this in the application form, that they will send all correspondence to your mailing address unless you provide your email
