It’s so depressing to see they are scheduling oath ceremonies for November 2021 now .

Well, I don't entirely disagree but isn't it better than NOT seeing any updates for oath ceremonies at all? The glass is half-full in this case IMO.

Agreed. Scarborough is at least giving people hope to look forward to that day. The latest I've seen that Scarborough has scheduled is late November. This can also show us how huge the backlog is.

I have an update on this matter.

Today, I received a call from IRCC Mississauga office after business hours (around 8:25 PM). The agent told me she has approved my request and my application and I will be scheduled for oath on 23rd August. She told me I'll receive an email in a couple of days.

Not sure, it was done over a phone call. So, not sure who exactly the officer was but the name didn't begin with a Z or a M.

If there is a minor child involved, then I'm certain that urgent processing with apply to the child as well. As for the second adult applicant, I do not know - It is likely that it'll apply but I am not 100% sure. Mine's a single application.

Scrabrough office is very slow and non of then working hard otherwise we should done everything now .I am applicant from March 2019 and until now not even decision made so I am wondering how they process application .by age ? By wight ? By good looking ? Or by favoritism ?
What s the rule of processing....anyone knows ?

I am also March 2019 applicant. Got my test invite in July and Did my test on July 11, 2021. It’s been more than 2 years since I applied for the citizenship. So frustrating.

Children under 14, no but they are welcome to.

The call was from Ontario? Did CIC appear as the caller?
