The only mail I received was when my passport left Vsf Nigeria to Ghana. Then from Ghana VSf to IRCC office Ghana and since then I have not heard anything. Almost 6weeks now. When I check the tracking number it says My proccessed passport has been forwarded to the Canada visa office since 08/07/2021. Today makes it one month. I don't know when I will get a counterfoil mailYou will definitely know when you check you account and you will be notified through an email,counterfoil is the visa it self(visa number which starts with T)
Maybe next batch cos I expect you to have gotten counterfoil. A few of us here got it same day which was 19th July. But whichever it is, your good news is just round the corner. Next batch shouldn’t take this long. Am sure there was a strategic reason for the delay. Just stay positive and thank God that he has done it already.
Obviously VFS collates and only send passport to Accra after receiving the last batch... ridiculously and unnecessarily delaying applicants...

There has been unnecessary delays in passport transmission by VFS Nigeria Offices in recent time, applicants will have to wait for 2 months between submission and return. Passport are forwarded to Accra VO in batches which makes passport to sit in their offices for not less than 2 weeks before transmission and sometimes if you're unlucky it could take 4 weeks... this is a big problem... which we can take steps to address or ignore...
I have started a change campaign via this link http://chng.it/hKrVf8CZ which can only be successful if you sign the petition (at least 100 for a start)….if you're in doubt of putting your name you can use pseudo name! lets help to improve service delivery and have value for our money.

This is absolutely commendable, selfless, and progressive as you have detailed the flaws in the current process, articulately.
I sincerely encourage us all to sign, not because it will change the delay we all have suffered but it would save countless people in the nearest future from the agony and pain of unnecessary delays.
