I have applied online for my study permit on May 15th and registered my biometrics shortly after. To date, I have not received any update and it is really starting to stress me out. I had booked a flight for mid-September because I thought I would get a final decision before then, but now I feel like I should cancel it because it doesn't seem like I will get a decision soon.
Is anybody in the same situation as me? What do you suggest I do?
For reference here is the current status of my application
-Review of eligibility
We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
-Review of medical results
You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
-Review of additional documents
We do not need additional documents.
-Interview
You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
-Biometrics
May 21, 2021 Completed.
-Background check
We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
-Final decision
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
