August 2019 - Citizenship Applicants

My new update says that I need to take citizenship test on 30th Aug. Will wait for instructions to see what that is . It doesn't say online though so I am guessing it might be at center

Let me know how did it go. I will have to give the test again for my new application that i applied online today .

Nop. They are totally lost , not responding to my emails, im not getting gcms notes either. Did not get the notes from IRCC as well as RCMP. So i just applied. Ill await their response.

Okay. For withdrawal, you can't simply send a webform. You'll have to follow the whole application withdrawal process.

I think I faced a unique issue on my test. When I started my test, test site used my infra red camera instead of my regular camera. So it did capture in b/w with some distortion. My test was in April and after few days test status changed to complete. And then again few days back test status changed to progress. Today I saw update that I have to take the test again. But no email or anything yet.

They took 4 months to review the test. And even after taking re test, I think it is going to be another for 4 month and probably I get my citizenship after 8-9 months. And I got my AOR of Aug 2019. So probably three year for citizenship !!

I cant even compare these officers' work with a child since many children above 10 wont do the repetitive work like this.
So they just marked as complete for the sake of doing it and then now redoing the same task all over again. No wonder we have delays. Seems these officers can do correctly only on paper and pen in exam hall.
Half of cic employees should be given voluntary retirement.

CIC is a mess, this is what my GCMS notes say "Verified photos and ID for online test - no concerns" and they rescheduled me for a test on Aug 30th and not replying my emails.

I think this is a trick to bypass the 3 month test to oath standard.

I got exactly same date too :

I can only see another application once its in the system like when u get an AOR . I can just see the submission as of yet.

Most CIC officers are college drop outs or ppl who never went to school. Im surprised they can even read. Some of them are just thumb sucking kids who are just there because of being billingual.
