I am a June 2020 Toronto applicant and my tracker hasn’t been updated since April 23, 2021. I was wondering if anyone else is in this same situation. I called IRCC twice today but they couldn’t take my calls because they according to them they are experiencing higher than normal call volumes.

A lot of people were (myself included) and many are still in the same position. April 23rd is simply the date when the dashboard went live AFAIK. It is unlikely for an actual update to have happened on that date.

Yes, waiting forever has become the new normal. My file was updated around the time yours was updated. Dead silence since then. If nothing happens by the end of September, then a call is in order to wake them up
If you call to wake them up they will answer your call to send you back to sleep and hibernate until winter is over .
Calling is useless. I called yesterday and they just told me where my local office is and how each application is on a case by case basis. They said I should wait to hear from my local office.
June 2019 applicant I had the same update on Aprile 23 but today I checked and it shows updated on 25th of August and no letter or anything... any idea what is going on ? do you guys have the same update on 25th Of August?
We are December 2019 and we have not get anything yet. So i am sorry but lots of people applied before you and still waiting.
