I have applied pnp inland application, submitted file in Dec 2020, not received AOR yet, I have one dependent overseas, Ircc hold files who have overseas dependent. If anyone have any update regarding inland applicant with overseas dependent plz reply me.

We had AR on January 12th, inland, of course haven’t heard anything yet.

I was curious what the temporary number TFN is for? Is it worth me asking for it? Could anyone explain what it actually means? Or helps with?

TFN has no indication of your application processing. But it is referencing your file is being picked by an officer.
No official verification / processing started yet.
It helps if you need to update information in your application, like if you moved or you have a newborn.

you can send a webforma asking your temporily file number. if you get you can sure the file has been processed and in the system

people with 2021 AR didn’t even get temporary file number. It looks like it will take long time to get AOR because I know the people with December AR who getting Aor now. They all received their TFN in may.
