Hello
I'm filling an application to ask for an Open work permit trough my husband's closed work permit,(he's a French citizen and I'm a Mexican citizen) he received it for a bit more than two years and he's been working for the same company for almost two years now, the thing is we just got married (here in Canada) and have only the declaration of marriage, we already asked for the certificate of marriage but it will take 45 days to arrive and I really want to start working, I've received phone calls from recruiters that find my profile in LinkedIn and don't want to miss those opportunities
Is it possible to send the application for the OWP with only the declaration of marriage? The courthouse Clerck that celebrated the ceremony said we could use that declaration for any process but the certificate it's a cleaner version
Also it's ok if in the optional letter I add a pdf with my husband's employment letter, pay stubs, the lease showing we've been living together for more than a year and maybe wedding photos? Or it's unnecessary?
Thanks!
