Guys, I wanted to get everyone’s feelings here when it comes to resuming in-person ceremonies and whether ppl who have taken the exam are in a more advantageous position.
1) I am under the impression that there has been a significant increase in test invites and DMs lately, not for everyone unfortunately, but if you look at the spreadsheet, there seems to be more invites and DMs than couple of months ago. Am I right ? My assumption then becomes that IRCC may be planning to resume in-person Citizenship ceremonies while maintaining online ceremonies. In addition, judging by the fact that ppl should expect Oath invitation within 3-months of taking the test (according to IRCC website), the only explanation for reaching this goal, and handling increased test invites and DMs, is to resume in-person Citizenship Oaths? I may be out-to-lunch here but I am positive this is coming. Thoughts ?
2) Are applicants who have taken the Citizenship exam at a more advantageous position when it comes to the processing of their application? Why do you think it is that some get randomly selected from a pile of applicants and they’re pushed through processing? This is not applicable for urgent applicants, I know they are handled differently.
