Look at other cases here:

https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/pr-card-new-renewal-processing-timeline-2021.724984/page-57

If you’re lucky, AOR comes together with Decision Made and the card is mailed quickly after.

If you aren’t lucky, travel by car and show your CoPR + passport at the border.
okay that’s what I wanted to know! If I go back by car that’s okay if my card is expired? I still have my Copr paper somewhere

Is this true only for travels from the US?
Traveling via any commercial vehicles such as plane, bus etc needs PR card. Traveling via road using personal/rental vehicle doesnt require PR card.
US is the only country nearby hence mostly people directly say that you can travel without PR card from US.

There is no need to show the PR card itself. So its irrelevant if its expired or not. Search your COPR first.

Back in March. But when I try to go online to check if it’s being processed there is no record about it :/ just my citizenship application comes up on ecas ‍♀
have you tried checking the old ECAS system? That /should/ show both cases concurrently (It did with mine while my citzenship was pending) - https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do - it listed both my PR Renewal and Citizenship application

Hi @rajkamalmohanram

Noticed in your signature that you requested for urgent processing that was denied. Would you mind sharing how did they let you know that they denied your request?

The reason I'm asking is my wife has also requested for urgent processing but IRCC hasn't sent us any email confirming acceptance/denial of the request. We called them up but they didn't confirm even on phone.

I called IRCC and the agent told me that my UP request was denied.

Yea I checked there and there is nothing about my PR:( just my citizenship application
Try this :

Try adding your PR card renewal application in your myCIC account.

Start here => https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html

1. Login with your GCkey credentials (the same credentials you used to submit your PR application via Express Entry). If you don't have or you have forgotten your GCkey credentials, create a new account.

2. Click on " Add (link) your application to your account "

3. Choose Category = Permanent Resident Card

4. Choose "UCI and Family Name" as the criteria under the "Please select one" dropdown

5. Fill in the details and then try to link the application.

Try and see if this works. If it does, you should have your PR card application linked to your myCIC account and you can check the status there.

thank you! I have tried that a few times. Nothing :( I wonder if it got lost in the mail or something. I just stopped worrying about it after I mailed it cause I figured I’d get my citizenship by now :/

Congrats! How many days did it take to get your certificate? Is it usually mailed or just an electronic version?
