US visa refusal

Hi all,

I'm currently living in the US. Last year, I applied for change of status to change my visa from H1B to visitor visa. The application was submitted after my EE AOR, however, my application is denied and my EE is still pending. Do I need to inform IRCC about this visa refusal? Will this refusal impact my EE application?

There is no visa extension, it's an extension of status. Your Visa was not denied.

Sorry, my bad. It was change of status. My application was change my visa status from H1B to visitor.
