Generally how much time does it take from test invite to oath ceremony?

I am just concerned about how the FP would be submitted to IRCC, as I haven't got a request yet but I am doing it proactively.

Would anyone know if the fingerprint agency submits it directly to IRCC or you need to show them a request letter from IRCC?

I will still give them a call on Tuesday but any inputs before that would be helpful.

Generally, all RCMP accredited fingerprinting agency will send your prints to RCMP who will then provide a criminality clearance to IRCC. Your prints are attached with your application number / UCI. So, when you provide your application number to the fingerprinting agency, they will attach the prints to this application number and then send it to RCMP AFAIK.

I passed the test but it hasn't updated obviously. Also when I try to login to the test again it says they haven't invited me yet which is weird. I would expect it to say that I took the test already!

If you try to login again, it is going to tell you that you aren't invited for the test. That's normal. It won't say you've taken the test because apparently, the app is not designed that way.

I've updated the spreadsheet.

Post updates when you see them on your application dashboard.

The photocopy of the ID (submitted with the application) is expired. Do I have to submit the renewed ID to IRCC.

Eg; DL / health card

As long as you finished the test then its fine. Wait till officer assess your exam which will take 1 to few days. You wont get any official confirmation hence watch the online tracker to see when the test status gets updated to complete.

No one knows. You have to have your oath ceremony done then await your citizenship certificate before you can apply for a passport.

You won't get a Canadian passport as a part of Citizenship grant process.

Applying for Canadian passport is a separate process AFTER you receive your citizenship certificate (after oath). After the test results are validated, assume it'll take 3 - 5 months for oath in order to avoid disappointment.

Once you have the Citizenship certificate in hand, you can apply for a passport and you'll receive it in about 30 business days (excluding mailing time). If you apply in-person, you can shave off some of the processing time.

Updated! Please let us know when you receive the test invite letter.
As to how challenging the test is, I would say it depends on your level of preparation. I found it easy, but I was very prepared. For me reading the book twice and taking practice tests helped.
