You are definitely not the only one left. Man, Approaching MPs,Lawyers didn't help? Here I was hoping my single Webform request will do the trick

Toronto MP was the most helpful. My spouse resides there so we made a request. They enquired IRCC like 4 times on our behalf (they checked in with us every month) - but each time the MP's office got a generic response from IRCC (asking us to wait till we get contacted).

Lawyers - contacted 3 so far. 2 paid consultations and one free - all of them said nothing to do but wait.

Webforms - 1 in May 2020, 1 in August 2020, 1 in October 2020, 1 in Dec 2020 and then we stopped bothering.

Many, many, many people whose COPR expired after ours got their extension and landed too.

My COPR expired last September 2020. IRCC reached out to use in May to see if we are interested, then go through Medical examination again. We passed the medical exam and now are asking for passport submission but this time the whole process of passport submission seems very different. In the document they send, they asked us to follow https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/usa/how_to_apply.html#temporary_documents process, where we need to send separate envelope for each applicants and thus need to pay fees for each applicants separately which comes to 88 USD per applicant ( which comes to 360 usd for us). I remember previously, I send all documents in a single envelope using Fedex last time. Also, along with each submission, we need to submit some consent form and make sure we are not eligible for Biometrics ( which we are not as per IRCC account).

Has any one gone through the similar process or is this whats new for every passport submission for the applicants. Looking forward for guidance.

Same boat. Feels like I'm the only one left. I'm going crazy.

COPR Expired in May 2020. My spouse is a Canadian PR and we have done everything - approached MPs, lawyers, got GCMS notes, nothing helped. We are just being told to wait, wait, wait.

I am there, delivered on 23rd to Chandigarh VFS , Yet to receive the details. Surprisingly for my dependent, it is already in process at IRCC Delhi

Have you received an email from VFS that your application Is in under process or are you talking about that email Which says your package is in transit to IRCC New Delhi?

I havent even received the initial email for VFS tracking no. and awb no.,forget the rest
dependant applicant has received all emails. The latest one yesterday says its under process at IRCC Delhi

I am goin to send my documents for passport submission. Purely by chance i noticed that my passport needed to be uploaded (updated) again in the document list in GC key.
The application status in the home page changed to "submitted" once i did tht. Till thn it was "action required".
I submitted it again.. just wondering if everyone had the same requirement .. are they asking simply or for whtever reason? Any idea?

Everyone here is like extended family...so sharing the good news!!! We had finally received the PPR request on 27th July. I think I am among the oldest pending cases here and with this group from page 1.

COPR issued in Dec 2019 and expired on 01 April 20. We received medical request in May 21 and got it done immediately. Even after that it was long 2 months wait.

From the start of the this unpredicted time, this group and update posted by member are like light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks you so much and the people who are waiting, just hang in there!!!! This shall too pass.

Same for me, only for primary applicant.
But received only one email around 12:40 PM IST saying:
"Visa application, tracking ID No. ******************** The envelope for the decision on the results of your visa that has been processed has been received at the Canadian Visa Application Center at New Delhi OC, on the date. We will then send this to the Canadian Visa Application Center New Delhi OC. Please note that this is an automated email. Please DO NOT reply to this email."
